Our Beliefs

Commitment to
the gospel of
Jesus Christ

The gospel is the good news that God's grace has entered this world's darkness. The life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ are all part of the epic story of creation, fall, redemption, and completion that God preordained and arranged.

The crucified life of Christ is the essence of the gospel. The strength of the gospel is in His resurrection. His ascension is the gospel's crowning achievement.

OUR BASIC BELIEFS

Read the foundational beliefs that the Church stands on

Basic Beliefs

These beliefs and doctrines are what the Church believes in and grows accordingly. These beliefs represent our foundations on which the church is built.

Doctrine of God

In our view, there is only one God, who exists eternally as three separate but equal persons—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit—each of whom is entirely God.

Doctrine of Revelation

God has shown Himself to the world through creation, the Bible, and Jesus Christ.

Doctrine of Creation

We hold the view that God established the universe from nothing and controls everything everywhere at all times.

Doctrine of Humanity

We believe that all individuals deserve inherent worth and dignity since they were made in God's image.

Doctrine of Sin

We believe that because of sin, everything is broken and the world is in desperate need of rescue.

Doctrine of

Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace of God alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ.

Doctrine of the Church

We believe that the Church is the body of Jesus Christ  that has been sent into the world to shine the glory of God.

Doctrine of the New Creation

We believe that Jesus Christ is returning back to the world in the future to judge the living and the dead.
